The Beginning
Fort Worth, Texas. Amayah Garcia picks up a basketball for the first time. The courts in Fort Worth are her classroom — fast, physical, unforgiving. The game hooks her immediately.
Faith Family Academy
Amayah joins the Faith Family Academy Eagles. As a freshman, she immediately stands out. Her combination of size (5'11"), shooting ability, and defensive instincts turns heads before she's even old enough to drive.
Southwest Select / Adidas 3SSB
The grassroots circuit is where reputations are built. Amayah suits up for Southwest Select on the Adidas 3SSB circuit — one of the hardest women's AAU circuits in the country. She faces the best guards in her class, weekend after weekend, and consistently holds her own.
The Recruiting Race Begins
Offers start coming in. Baylor. UNC. Florida. Indiana. Louisville. Ole Miss. NC State. Georgia. TCU. Kansas. The most respected programs in women's college basketball want Amayah Garcia.
Senior Season

Adidas Eurocamp — Italy
Selected by Adidas to attend the Eurocamp in Italy — one of the most coveted international invitations in youth basketball. Competing alongside elite prospects from around the world and performing in front of international scouts, Amayah brought her game to a global stage.
